Club Fun Day July 2023 (In Support Of The Garyp Fund)

Hi everyone.

Most of us probably know that Gary Peacock, one of the Clubs founding members, has for some time been suffering from a lung condition requiring oxygen supplementation. Unfortunately, the position now is that his portable oxygen machine can no longer generate sufficient oxygen for him to join us on any outings or events, and he is basically confined to home where he can rely on a bigger machine and supplementary oxygen bottles.

As one can imagine, oxygen machines, filling oxygen bottles, ensuring uninterrupted power supply, etc is a costly affair, and the club would love to make a contribution to his continued well being.

To this end, a GaryP fund is being set up, and a Club Fun Day is being arranged as follows:
Date: Sat 1 July 2023
Venue: Non-Stop Adventures
Entry Fee: R100/adult, R50/child, u12 free. All proceeds will go to the GaryP Fund.

We will have a gates event where you can test your driving skills by driving through a number of strategically placed markers.

The more adventurous can test their nerves in the sandpit or the obstacles alongside the campsite. Finally we will drive a short 4x4 course consisting of some cross axles, river crossings and down "Little Sani". Maybe even a recovery or two.

Lunch will be a braai with wors rolls sponsored by Bluff Meat Supply who will also be donating to the GaryP Fund. Four winners from the Bluff Meat Supply Dads & Lads 4x4 Experience competition will be joining us.

There will be no pressure to partake in any of the events, but it would be really great for as many members as possible to attend, meet old and new members, and above all support a good cause.
