In Search Of Mqeku Pass

A Day Trip has been planned to find and drive the Mqeku and Khyber Passes near PMB.

We will meet at the New England Road Kwikspar (Dirt car park) at 7:30am for an 8:00am departure.

We will then travel to Nagel Dam via the Lion Park.

We could have morning 'tea' at Nagle Dam however the entrance fee to Nagel Dam is R30 per person unless you have a WILD CARD.

We then continue to the Mqeku Pass. approx: 75km

After the Mqeku Pass we will travel via YORK to the Khyber Pass.

Once over the Khyber Pass we will stop at Curry's Post for coffee.

Please note the following:

1. Bring a PICNIC lunch as we are unsure of where we will be and what facilities are available en route.
2. We have not explored this route before so we will all be experiencing it for the first time.
3. The route maybe altered by the leaders as they see fit according to conditions.
4. There is a limit of 10 vehicles.
5. All participants will be required to sign an indemnity form
